Aisha was born in Alice Springs in 1994. Her mother is painter Mary Roberts and her father is Lesley Gorey. She is the youngest, having two older brothers. Aisha is one of the youngest artists painting at Ikuntji Artists, having started to pain this year (2019). She grew up with her family in Papunya, where she went to primary school. She then went on to complete high school at Yirrara College in Alice Springs. Subsequently she started working for Mac Youth in Papunya. Aisha is now the proud mother of one. She lives between Papunya and Haasts Bluff with her family, and paints in her spare time. Aisha says that she is the only one of her siblings who has started to paint. She learnt from her grandmother Mona Nangala, and mother Mary Roberts, both renowned artists.
