Dimensions: 19 x 9 x 2cm
A well-crafted, practical and durable product that will keep your cards, coins and cash in order. Has rounded corners and back and front are the same size. We get many repeat customers for this one.
The feature fabric was designed by Aboriginal artist Eunice Napanangka Jack of Ikuntji Artists in Haasts Bluff, Central Australia.
Fabric: Cotton drill and cotton/silk
Color: The base cloth color is sand.
The matched fabric is a high quality slightly textured cotton/silk blend hand-woven in Vietnam.
NOTE: Because each purse is a one off and crafted from hand screen printed fabric, the pattern on each product will vary (see pictures)
The fabric was hand-printed at Publisher Textiles in Sydney then beautifully crafted by fair trade partners Villageworks Cambodia as part of our collaboration with Flying Fox Fabrics. Villageworks employs, trains and supports disabled Cambodian artisans. The lady who made these bags lives in a village in the Cambodian countryside around 50 km from Phnom Penh.
Fabric Designer: Eunice Napanangka Jack
Design: Kuruyultu
This design by Eunice Napanangka Jack depicts her father’s Tjukurrpa (Dreaming). It shows people in the country at Kuruyultu, near Tjukurrla in Western Australia. The long lines are sandhills.
The artist is paid royalties for every metre printed.
