From 9th to 11th August Darwin once again became the focal point of the nation for visitors with an interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island arts. And of course Ikuntji Artists were there!

Held on Larrakia Lands at the Convention Centre in the newly developed Waterfront Precinct, Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair coincides with the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards and the Darwin Festival; a time when the city of Darwin

The fair provided an opportunity for us to meet face to face with arts industry buyers and the public, and to sell art directly from our Indigenous owned art. There was a huge array of artworks shown: paintings on canvas, bark paintings, works on paper, timber and metal sculptures, limited edition prints, didjeridus, fibre art and jewellery, as well as tours of Darwin galleries, talks, workshops, demonstrations and cultural performances.
