Ikuntji Artists Goes to Paris

The biggest collaboration in Ikuntji Artists history. IDAIA will be launching it’s new collection of Indigenous textile accessories featuring Ikuntji Artists designs at the iconic Parisian department store BHV Marais from January 29, 2022
The launch is part of the BHV’s special event “Couleurs Australie – A chromatic journey”, from January 29 to February 27, 2022, organised in partnership with Tourism Australia and the Australian Embassy in Paris.
The BHV is placing Australia at the heart of the department store, with a selection of key Australian brands showcased in the superb Agora area on the ground floor, exhibition Piinpi: Contemporary Australian Indigenous Fashion in the BHV’s Observatory space, an Australian pop-up café, and a program of workshops and meetings.
Ikuntji Artists featured in this collection are: Eunice Napanangka Jack, Lisa Multa, Mitjili Napurulla and Mavis Marks
