We are happy to say Ikuntji (Haasts Bluff) was crowned the Territory’s tidiest town at an awards ceremony at the Hilton Doubletree in Alice Springs.

“Traditional Owners and the residents of Ikuntji (Haasts Bluff) are very deserving of this award and I congratulate them on their success,” Keep Australia Beautiful Council NT chief executive Heimo Schober said.

Hayley Dodd was also named Young Legend as part of the awards for her work as a model this year.

Ikuntji will now go on to represent the Territory at the Australia-wide tidy town awards, held in Beechworth Victoria.
