National Indigenous Art Fair, Sydney – Postponed!

the National Indigenous Art Fair 2021 has been post postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions and public health concerns. We hope to see you in 2020!

from NIAf: “It is with great sadness that I write to you today that we will need to cancel this year’s Art Fair. Covid numbers overnight rose in Sydney and while we put even more restrictions in place at this stage our artists and community safety is the only priority in our mind and we cant ensure this with the current strain.
At this stage, we will postpone the event till Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 July 2022.

The National Indigenous Art Fair team.”

The National Indigenous Art Fair is an ethical marketplace, offering a unique opportunity to buy artwork directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from more than 30 remote community owned art centres from the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.

The third annual event is presented by First Hand Solutions Aboriginal Corporation, in proud partnership with Port Authority of NSW and Indigenous Business Australia. Artists will travel to Sydney as part of First Hand Solutions’ ‘Heart in Art’ program, which provides economic and professional development opportunities to Aboriginal artists working in remote communities.
