This exhibition at Suzanne O’Connell Gallery will feature paintings, shoes and photographs.

“Put yourself in my shoes” invites people to walk in the artists’ shoes, representing their country, their experience of walking through country and their understanding of the world. The original shoes were donated by Kanparrka Store at Ikuntji/Haasts Bluff. They are the shoes artists and community members wear on a daily basis.

The project came about through a visit by French fashion designer Cathy Amouroux in 2015.
