These Angela pants by Kelly Dixon depicts the Papa Tjukurrpa (Dog Dreaming) at Mintjinperri, east of Kintore - Pintupi country owned by the Nungarrayi women, a site for women's business where they gather for ceremony. In this Tjukurrpa the dogs walk amongst the tali (sandhills) and puli (rocks), searching for kapi (waterholes), leaving footprints behind them. Today those footprints can still be seen in the sand. This Tjukurrpa was passed down to Kelly from her mother Alice Nampitjinpa Dixon, who received it from her mother Panaria Nungarrayi, from whose Country this story comes.
