MAKE Award; Innovation in Australian Craft and Design

MAKE AWARD: Biennial Prize for Innovation in Australian Craft and Design is a new national award for Australian designer/makers and an initiative of the Australian Design Centre. The award is inspired by award programs such as the Burke Prize, offered by the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize.
This year the MAKE Award has nominated Ikuntji Artist Kumuntjai Napanangka Jack for her contributions to the design world. The exhibition showcase of the award nominees will take place from 28th September – 22 November 2023. at the Australian Design Centre in NSW.
