Printed on 100% linen, this design by Hayley Dodd depicts her grandmother's Country - Dalhousie Hot Springs in Witjira NP, an oasis at the edge of the Simpson Desert in South Australia. Her grandmother was born there. The blue in the painting refers to the abundance of water at this place.
Hayley grew up in Eastern Arrernte Country and attended Yirrara College in Alice Springs. In 2023 she made history at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week as the sole artist, designer and model on the runway wearing her own creation.
We pass through this place every time we visit family and we stop and enjoy the beautiful water.
