Board of Directors

Ikuntji Artists is a member-based, not-for-profit Aboriginal art centre, fully Indigenous-owned and governed. It operates as an Aboriginal corporation under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (CATSI Act), regulated by the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC). Its board of Indigenous directors, all of whom live and work locally in Haasts Bluff (Ikuntji), is elected by the members each year at the Annual General Meeting — keeping every major decision in the hands of the community it serves.
