New Exuberance: Contemporary Australian Textile Design - Last Chance to See!

Now at its final stop at FABRIK Arts + Heritage (Lobethal, SA), New Exuberance: Contemporary Australian Textile Design runs until 10 May 2026.

This major JamFactory touring exhibition brings together over thirty leading artists and designers working across contemporary textile practice in Australia today, including a strong group of Ikuntji artists.

Curated by Meryl Ryan, the exhibition spans art, design and fashion, alongside commissioned furniture pieces by JamFactory-associated designers.

Included are works by Keturah Nangala Zimran, Kumantjai Nampitjinpa Marks, Roseranna Larry, Kumuntjai Napanangka Jack and KumantjaiNapanangka Nolan. Through bold colour and pattern, their textile designs reflect deep connections to Country, culture and community.

As the exhibition reaches its final destination, it offers a last opportunity to experience the energy and diversity of contemporary Australian textile practice.
